Poison the Well - Soma
I don’t know if I have mentioned this on the site or not, but if you have Itunes, you must download this song. First off, the Smashing Pumpkins are one of my favorite alternative bands from the mid-to-late ninties. Billy Corgan, another Craig Clayton look-a-like, is an awesome singer. ‘Siamese Dreams’ and ‘Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness’ are two of my favorite all-time albums. Now lets talk about Poison the Well. First off, they aren’t your normal ‘rock’ band - they are pretty hardcore — that said though, this song is not “heavy” — I would feel completely comfortable playing this song in the car with my mom. My mom is always attacking my music, claiming it is noise, etc. — so if I could play it without her freaking out, its pretty tame. Never the less, I think they did a beautiful job rendering this classic SP song into a modern day anthem.

Select Albums that I think are rocking …
- Thrice - Artist in the Ambulance
- Thrice - Vheissu
- Thursday - War all the Time
- Underoath - They’re only chasing safety
- Demon Hunter - The Triptych
- Death Cab for Cutie - Plans, Photo Album, Transatlantic
I actually went and saw Thrice at the Beaumont Club the other night. I can not explain how cool of a concert they put on. The lighting was amzing and they had complete control over the crowd - even though they had a lot of technical difficulties.
I’m flying to Memphis tomorrow to discuss outsourcing some web design. I’ll be actually arriving in Murray earlier than expected on Friday, since they are sending me directly from Memphis to Nashvegas! I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone. Dut, Chris, and all my ASP fraternity brothers! What about Bradley Simmons and Tyler Leet, are you going to be at Tent City? I know you read this site! Starkie? Youre going to be there - right?
I’m pretty pumped - I havent seen my mom, stepdad, or brother in like 4 or 5 weeks!

I have been laughing so hard. I just heard the new Bloodhound Gang cd. Yes, Casey Naber, The Bloodhound Gang. This cd rocks so hard! It is disturbingly disgusting.
Classic. It’s like my sophomore year of college over again!
