Wildcat Domination
December 20th, 2005
Did you have a chance to watch CBS on Saturday? Chances are - if you viewed the 2pm NCAA game, you noticed the University of Kentucky Wildcats placing a spanking on some scumbags from the University of Louisville. Yes sports fans - the Wildcats might have lost three games this year - but I would like to note that at least the teams we have lost to are “ranked” or “schools of stature”… We didn’t have the weakest schedule in the country!
It wasn’t like the Wildcats were lucky - I’ve not heard a single Louisville fan say that… Anyone who watched the game knows what happened. They simply controlled the pace of the game. They simple executed perfectly. They simply minimized the Cardinals offensive efforts. The only time anyone thought that the Cards had a chance was when the cats started trying to eat away clock. If the game got tight, all they would have had to do was start playing fast and hard inside - YOU COULDN’T STOP US!
I’m not one to brag - sure, I’ve heard nothing but trash-talking about this game for the last two weeks — but it feels so sweet to have Tim Stark and Tim Moore sucking on their toes.
Just think guys, only like 360 more days of this!

They have to let UK win every once in a while so they dont just give up and quit playing…

Craig,
The way U of L was playing if UK didn’t beat them (and beat them heavily) I would have personally gone to KC to laugh at you. Louisville was playing at a sub-high school level… Kentucky still made a lot of stupid mistakes and beat a team with a ridiculously easy schedule.
And they still suck.

FIrst off, Louisville was playing 8 on 5, when you count the 3 refs that were there. Not to mention that Lousiville couldn’t throw a rock in the ocean, and UK was hitting everything they threw toward the basket.
Gloat while you can, because we are still ranked higher than you, and still have a better record than you. Plus we have Pitino, the only good thing to come out of Kentucky.

I’ve never been a fan of college sports, who cares if they won a basket ball game, did anyone from UK get thrown off the top of a Hell in a Cell through an announcers table covered in tacks? Negatory. Did anyone on the UK Roster roundhouse kick someone in the face just because they questioned Chuck Norris…I think not.
How come no one supports magic Mic Cronin?

Yada yada yada — you still lost.
The reason UoL couldnt hit a shot was superior defensive skills.
Typical Louisville Fan - “Oh, the refs were partial”… whatever.
Get your coach under control….
See you next year, losers… HAHA

Just remember, when UK is having there end of the year banquet, Lousiville will be playing in the final 4.

i was just thinking back and wondering how many final fours tubby’s been to, since he had pitino’s mini-nba squad that won the 98 title?

from an impartial person - i would say neither team really has a shot at the final four - UofL is in for a nasty surprise when they start playing real teams - they won’t be able to not show up for games and win.
UK is going to have a sub-par year - but all the teams they’ve lost to are decent…..and they have NO big men. at all. Morris is a mediocre pivot player at best. Rondo is a stud though…
I’m calling both out of the tourney by the second round, 4 seeds for both.

After you and Craig get thru making love together, maybe you should just realize that Duke better not lose a game this season. They are by far the best team in the nation, and should not ever lose this season…keep that in mind.

Duke has the potential to lose just like any team if they play an opponent that nuetralizes their offense. With the ACC being as diverse in playing style as it is - they will lose a game or two. I think, however, that they will probably at least be a strong final four team. I believe the Cardinals will lose six this year, before tournament.
14. Randolph | December 20th, 2005 at 9:04 pm
I think Duke will lose 2 - the ACC ain’t half bad again this year.
I’m sure they’ll disappoint somewhere along the line - they’ve already had a few very close games (Va Tech)
There’s great parity this season, and it should be interesting.
